Cast: The short story anthology started by J.M. Linser and Robb Horan used to show case Linsner’s artistic and creative talents and those of new and upcoming writers and artists. The themes of the stories were generally dark but the the emphasis was on originality and experimentation, giving new comic book creators a forum in which to get their work noticed.

Cast: The origin of Argent the Wolf, archenemy of Grendel. The story takes place over a 300-year arc, from a Native America tribe in Canada through the Revolutionary War up until the 1980s. It explains how Argent got his powers and form from Maslun, god of death, and killed his way through the centuries, ending up as an agent of the police in the modern day. It tells of his few loves, including Wind-in-the-Leaves and Stacy Palumbo. It tells of his enemies, from Eagle Scratch to Hunter Rose.

Cast: Bogie Man follows the adventures of Francis Forbes Clunie, a private eye who models himself on Humphrey Bogart. ‘Bogie’ has his own problems though not least being a patient in Spinbinnie Hospital, home for the insane, and actually believes that he is Humprey Bogart! This is fantastic stuff and comes with it’s own McGlossary at the back for anybody who needs subtitles when watching Trainspotting.
