Cast: Axel Pressbutton was one of the first titles published by independent Eclipse Comics. It reprinted material from the British magazine Warrior, bringing it to U.S. readers for the first time. Each month featured a collection of short stories and serials, highlighted by the adventures of cyborg fighter/florist Axel Pressbutton and the beautiful but deadly Mysta Mystralis: Laser Eraser.

Cast: Blue Devil (Dan Cassidy) is a fictional character, a superhero featured in material published by DC Comics. He first appeared in a special insert published in Fury of Firestorm #24 (June 1984). That story led directly into Blue Devil #1, also cover dated June 1984. He was created by Dan Mishkin, Gary Cohn, and Paris Cullins. The Blue Devil comic book ran for 32 issues with Blue Devil later appearing as a regular character in Shadowpact that ran for 25 issues.

Cast: Power Pack is a fictional team of comic book superheroes consisting of four young siblings who appear in books published by Marvel Comics. They were created by writer Louise Simonson and artist June Brigman and first appeared in their own series in 1984. The series lasted 62 issues. The characters have since appeared in other books.

Cast: This four-issue limited series introduced us to the Starriors, a race of sentient robots who live on Earth in the distant future. Divided into Destructors and Protectors, they fight a desperate battle for control of the Battlestation, a fantastic ship which holds the last cryogenically sleeping members of the human race. The Starriors were a line of toys from Tomy.
